Sydney Transport

By train

From the city you can take a T1 North Shore & Northern Line train (Direction: North Shore & Northern Line City to Berowra via Gordon, City to Hornsby via Macquarie University service) from either Central Station, Town Hall Station or Wynyard Station to Milsons Point Station. Journey time is between 3 to 9 minutes)

Once you alight the train, walk south down Alfred Street, towards the Harbour Bridge and the Luna Park entrance is on your right hand side at the water’s edge.

By ferry

From: Circular Quay, No. 5 Wharf, Sydney take the ferry to Milsons Point Wharf, Milsons Point (F4 Circular Quay to Darling Harbour Loop).

Please note: The Milsons Point ferry wharf is currently under reconstruction and will be closed until November 2017. All ferrys have been redirected to the Jeffery St wharf during this period.

By car

If you’re driving to Luna Park Sydney, there are 389 secure car spaced available at the venue.


Entry to the car park is via Paul Street, just off Alfred St South, Milsons Point. The following rates apply:

0-1 hour $9
1-2 hours $16
2-3 hours $23
3-4 hours $29
4 hours + $35

The fees above apply per 24 hour period. Maximum vehicle height is 1.9 metres. Hours of operation are 7am to 3am. Side street paid parking is also available.

Melbourne Transport

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is located on the banks of the Yarra River, only a short walk from Melbourne’s central business district, and a 20-minute drive to Melbourne Airport connects MCEC to the rest of Australia and the world.

Parking at MCEC

There are three car parks available for visitors to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. More information on car park costs here.

By Taxi

For the Exhibition Centre ask driver to drop off at the Clarendon Street entrance of MCEC.

For the Convention Centre ask driver to drop off at Convention Centre Place, next to the Hilton South Wharf Hotel.

By  Tram

Tram numbers 96, 112 and 109 travel down Spencer/Clarendon streets and stop opposite the Clarendon Street entrance of the MCEC.

Tram numbers 48 and 70 stop at the end of Flinders Street. Walk towards the Yarra River, across the new pedestrian bridge.

By  Train

Take the train to Southern Cross Station. Tram numbers 96, 109 and 112 travel past Southern Cross Station down Spencer/Clarendon Streets and stop opposite the MCEC.

By Bus

The SkyBus transports visitors direct from Melbourne Airport to Southern Cross Station.

MCEC is a 10 minute walk from the station or catch tram 96 which stops opposite the Clarendon Street entrance of MCEC.
Bus route 238 operates to and from Southern Cross Station to Convention Centre Place between the hours of 10am – 3pm, Monday to Friday.
The coach pick-u/drop-off point is coach bay 1, Convention Centre Place (closest to DFO South Wharf). More information found here.
