As a mobile travel agent, you need to be a travel expert. Your clients trust that you can point them to the best destinations and experiences to suit their tastes and their budget – so they’re not going to be happy if it turns out your information is unreliable or out of date.

Familiarisation trips, or FAM trips, are the best way to refresh your knowledge of your favourite destinations and broaden your horizons to new ones. FAM trips are an indispensable tool in your professional development, as long as you’re using them to their full potential.

The travel industry isn’t standing still. New destinations, activities and technologies are emerging every year that you need to have more than a passing familiarity with if you’re going to be selling them to your clients.
